Abstract

: Learning can be said to be effective if students are able to understand the material taught and are able to apply it in their lives, and that can happen if an educator is able to be a good facilitator and is able to design student-centered learning. Based on preliminary observations made by researchers, at MI Darul Ibad, the problems include the level of understanding of students in absorbing learning tends to be less transferred to the maximum due to inappropriate learning methods, so students become passive. Another problem that arises in the application of inappropriate learning methods in the subject of Jurisprudence is the low learning outcomes of students. This is due to the difficulty of students in understanding the material conveyed by the teacher so that the average learning outcomes of students are still below average.  Cooperative Learning is a learning model where students learn in small groups with different abilities. In cooperative learning, learning is said to be unfinished if one of the friends in the group has not mastered the learning material.  The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) because this research was conducted to solve learning problems in a class. In this activity, the author is fully involved in the research starting from planning, action, observation and reflection. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that using cooperative learning methods can improve student learning achievement in fiqh subjects. Increased student ability in terms of answering written tests and oral tests of fiqh subjects MI Darul Ibad.
